Lucas Margulis is an event and hospitality professional with a background spanning the entertainment, fashion, and events industries. His career began with organizing events for various organizations across Canada and the United States. Lucas launched several clothing lines before founding PURE Entertainment in 2014, a Canadian interactive event entertainment company operating nationwide.
Lucas identified an opportunity to integrate cannabis hospitality into the Canadian events industry. Though the concept of High Bar was developed in 2015, its launch was deferred until the official legalization of cannabis in Canada in 2018. Following legalization, Lucas established High Bar as a certified cannabis hospitality company operating in compliance with applicable federal and provincial cannabis legislation. High Bar became one of the first companies in Canada to offer certified cannabis hospitality services at a wedding reception in 2018.
High Bar's services include cannabis vape stations, on-site cannabis beverage infusing, mobile cannabis bar service, and certified budtenders. Under the Lucreative umbrella, Lucas oversees digital marketing, product design, manufacturing, website development, and social media for both PURE Entertainment and High Bar Canada.
Lucas has been recognized by BizBash as a must-know event professional in 2021 and as one of Canada's top 250 influential event professionals in 2022. In 2023 Eventex recognized Lucas in The 100 Most Influential People in the Events Industry, The 50 Most Influential Event Professionals, and The 50 Most Influential People in the Events Industry in the USA and Canada.
